The creativity, the businesses that contribute and the festival staff are what make this such a great event each year!! More than 200 trees and wreaths to view!
There is so much to experience at the Festival of Trees!!  My family and I have made this a yearly tradition. We enjoy purchasing the raffle tickets ($5.00 a sheet) then placing them in the trees we hope to win!! (We have not won yet, but maybe this is our year!)
There is a large tree called the Charles' Tree and you could be the lucky winner if you place the raffle, this years price is $2,000 in cash.
So much to offer the children such as a magjic show, visits with santa, breakfast with santa, wall they green monster visit, mad science show, balloon artist and puppet shows.  Be sure to check the website for days and times as they are on individual days.

Salem NH 2010 Parade

Salem NH Holiday Parade 2010

By: Rachel D. Barrett
This years parade will be on Sunday November 28th starting at 1:00.
The parade begins on Rte 97 from cisco Systems and will continue down Rte 97 with a final destination of Salem High School on Germonty Drive.
The festivities are always a fun. My family and I enjoy watching the floats, dancers, bands, music etc from the corner of Meisner and Geromonty. The church even sells hot cocoa and other hot beverages for those cold parade days.
This years Theme is "Past, Present & Future" and the Grand Marshall this year will be Al Kaprielian ("Good Evening") who was best know for being the meteorologist for 26 years with Channel 50.
I hope to see you and your families down there this year!!
